After I heared that, it kinda turned me off, and I dont think it is for me, I know I shouldnt be greedy and ask for all the profit for myself, however, I just dont like the idea to sell stuff for another person and be given some of the profit. If I was told to byt the product, then sell it, in this case, it will sound better for me Anyway, I really hope you can make money out of afeliate programs, I think many people have done so dtm32236 07-14-2009, 10:30 PM I havent done affeliate marketing before, but from what I heared, people will take a percentage of the profit I make ... it kinda turned me off, and I dont think it is for me Well, this is kind of the point of affiliate marketing... you do a service for an organization and in return they offer a service for you. It doesn't have to mean that you or they receive a percentage of your money though. Affiliate marketing can offer other benefits like client referrals or an added bonus (like the other company offering a demo or trial of your service packaged with their product). The term affiliate marking is pretty broad and I think you've simplified it into something that may or may not be valuable to someone else. So to answer the original poster's question - it really depends on what type of business you're in and what you're looking for. Let us know what product or service you're offering and maybe people here can give insightful recommendations. It's always good to try to think outside of the box. And pick up a book on affiliate marketing while you're at it. Good luck with it! webdeveloper.com
