I have a client wishing to create a business portal which among other things, will allow their customers to communicate with them via an instant messenger application. But they want the instant messenger to be a unique application built into their site - not Yahoo or AIM. So I have to make it. Anyone have any idea how or what language (AJAX??)I would use or where I should look for info because I haven't found anything.
