I'm working on a web application that uses an isapi dll to process pages
my delelopment pc also doubles as a development server, so I can test my changes without affecting other developers
we have found that almost everytime wwe shut down or reboot our pc's that dllhost has stopped responding and needs terminating so the shutdown can continue
that was just a minor annoyance, but I noticed that explorer was crashing more often that you'd expect from just testing changes it usualy got better after a reboot then progressivly worse, I assumed this was just the computer, as it was quite old and I'd inherited it from another developer who'd had similar problems with it, however I've just got a brand new PC and am having the same problems with it crashing or hanging, I've been using dreamweaver to develop a website and when I've previewed pages it has suddenly hung, but terminating the dllhost processes that are running unhangs it and it works again
I have no(less anyway) problems when I dont use my webserver to run the isapi application
does any one know what I can do to solve this problem?
