Hi, let me clear up what I mean in the title
We're doing some site upgrades. Now that google actually ranks my site near the top I can see that it displays a description of an old page that has some outdated pricing. I have the page set so if the link is clicked it just redirects them to the new site, but the problem is the information its displaying in the description.

Is there a way I can get it not to show that page without waiting for a re-index?

Thanks!

not that I'm aware of. The only thing to do is wait for the site to be reindexed. It shouldn't take all that long. You could try contacting Google but mega-giants are not known for being responsive to us little folks.

If you have submitted a site index, you can have Google re-check that index and that will let the robots know that the page in question has been updated. In turn that should speed up the re-indexing.
