controlling open browser from mail

Hi all,

is there the possibility to manipulate which browserwindow is used when a user opens a link from an email by doubleclicking a link?

Or the other way around: Can i exclude my window, so that my application is not reloaded when the user doubleclicks on an link from the email?

why would some1 click the link, twice wouldnt the simplest way to dot his is next to the link say, click once please
