Right guys, I havent used java in about 4/5 years now and have recently been given a job by a client that requires a webpage to know the make and model of the printer plugged into the visitors computer. I was almost certain java had the abiltity to do this so i thought i would scan google for a few answers, which came up with very little. So do any of you guys know if this is possible in java, where to look for more info, and if its not possible would there be any other way/languages to have a look at?
