I think it's pretty well done, though I'd make some changes.The blue catches attention, but is somewhat painful to the eyes, I'd use green.As for the content and navigacy they are O'K

way too blue - banner is slow to load changing screens requires banner to reload - frustrating for slow users (I'm on a 1mb dsl & its too slow for me) - try going lighter with less going on - the lettering outline makes the characters look a bit fuzzy - more contrast would make the banner much more readable
