Looking for a graphics tool

I am somewhat new to this, so I appreciate your patience. I am looking for a plotting/charting tool that will allow me to display realtime data in graphs. Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on what is available? The ultimate goal is to run within a browser. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Also google has a charting api. The url variables are really short though so it takes awhile getting used to the abreviated var names. http://code.google.com/apis/chart/
