This actually will do as promised in the headline, that is, using CSS and JavaScript, it will parse a list of the top sites and show which ones your browser has visited - I included a category called "porn sites". My site has nothing to do with pornography.

If you don't know how this little trick works, the effect can be scary... but it does not install any spyware nor record results... Just CSS & JavaScript and a list of sites to parse. That's it.

I've set a few buttons up for the default searches to check your browser for popular sites visited, dating sites visited, porn sites visited, social networking...

I'll be adding some more as the project became fun and kept me up late at night.

Actually, I did not initially give much thought to the use... but once I did, my wife did a check on the kids!

I was fiddling around with scripts - which I love to do for some strange reason, and came up with this idea... then it became an obsession... the next thing I knew, I had spent the whole weekend staying up until 3:00 a.m. building this site!

I do know that a lot of people are interested in finding out where their browser has been, and this is a fast, fun solution.

I've put in the generator scripts to make it fun... you can send it to a friend with an URL like this:

http://www.Check-History.com/visitedsites.php?Joe%20Smith

The PHP script I wrote will strip the %20 and replace it with spaces... put Joe Smith's name in the title bar and personalize the search. This was meant to be a kind of gag that guys like me like to pull on their buddies. :)

So with any of these searches, if there is no name added to the string, it produces a generic search. If there is a name added like above, then it personalizes the 'scan'. :D

OK, I got a bit carried away with the scripts, but didn't have anything else to do this weekend.
