Redirecting domains

I have two domains: mydomain.com and mydomain.net. I am setting up mydomain.com with a hosting company. Is there a way to direct mydomain.net to mydomain.com without a hosting account?

The bottom-line answer is, No.

When someone types in your .net address, their browser is directed to whatever computer your domain is registered to. If you want to have your domain redirected, it will cost you, but it is usually pretty cheap ($5/mo?).
