I am curious if anyone knows what the courts say about domain/website name ownership and the right to sue someone for it. Somebody owes me a lot of money and this person has an ecommerce business I am interested in. I would like to know if I can sue him for the domain name and ecommerce business. Can I put a lien on it? The Admin is in VA and the registrant is in NE. Any help would be great! If yes, how? I want to go after this guy and take this business/domain/website!!!!!

You can't just sue someone for having something you want (or at least I'd like to think you can't). You could probably take him/her to court for non-payment of debts, and then maybe settle out of court for ownership of the business (assuming the debt and the value of the business are proportionate and the owner would agree to the settlement).
