Hi,

Okay, I admit: I'm no JavaScript wizard like the rest of you. Far from it. All I manage to do is: copy an existing JS script into one of my HTML pages. Sometimes, it even works.
But how do I combine TWO existing scripts? For the opening page of a huge 'Internet book' called PANTACYCLOPEDIA that I am busy writing (the first chapters will be published in the near future), I would like to have a slide show in which a lot of images will be shown that fade into (and out of) each other in random order.
In the JavaScript Library, I found a Random Image Rotator that works perfectly. Also, I found a Fading Slide Show script. Nice - but how do I COMBINE those two in one working whole? I've tried and tried, but being a anaJavabetic, I cannot seem to get those two working properly.
Can any of you look into this, and help me out? Thanks!

I designed the exact same thing that you are looking for a few days ago! I'll post it here as soon as possible, or if you give me your e-mail address, i'll send it to you, as i don't have the code saved on this computer..................
It would be quite hard for you to combine the two scripts with no knowledge of javascript...............
One question: I guess you want the pictures to change automatically (every few seconds), not when the user clicks a button or anything like that. Am I right?

I downloaded Random Image Generator 2 years ago. Suddenly last year it quit working.

It still works in my HTML editor.

Today I got the code and re-installed it on my site...doesnt work, so I added the 'when were you born' code at the top of the page. That works, the RIG still won't. I tried putting it in the head and using Link Rel to banners.js
