Well, there are numerous ways...best one, is free web-submission...one good site submits you on 500 search-engines for free if you put a small banner on one of you sites....here's the link....www.website-submission.com (http://www.website-submission.com)

Also, it might be a good idea to try to look for state search engines....they generate a lot of viewers usually...whatever state you reside in...look for a search engine that is for that state....

Also, You should have good meta tags...some people put way too much in the meta tags and don't get a good result on search engines...it's a good idea to be clear and to the point...

And, there is always the old-fashioned way of having people read it in print...depending on what newspaper you use, you could get quite a few viewers for a very small fee...

BTW, there are numerous free search-engines....some make you have a link of banner...while others are totally free...you just have to look around...

Is there any way to list with Google for free?

What do you mean by list? any site can get on google for free - try typing in emdevelopments (my site) into google and hey presto! it appears, without ever being submitted.

Google adwords is the pay service, which display in boxes on the right.

Yep, Google will automatically index the sites. My latest site (http://www.ryanbrill.com/) is already listed, and that was just released on the 10th (was online for about a week longer, as a teaser). Doesn't take the googlebot long... ;)

you might go to http://www.dmoz.org , that is the open directory project. Basically that is the google directory and if your site is on that its on google. Also the open directory project is know to feed into the msn search engine as well as aol comet etc. BTW I am an editor of the open directory project for gaming clans and guilds, thats not much use to anyone though, it just looked like a nice experience so I decided to participate in a category with relativly low demand :)

I am also a DMOZ Editor any yes it is a major feeder to other directories though generally you have to have a quality or unique website to get accepted by a DMOZ Editor.

Wouldn't he already be in a way? If he wants to he can just get on pyros comp when hes not home :D . I am sure pyro stores his logins.

Since there's so much great stuff out there I gotta lotta suckin' up to do... :o

I posted on the "how old are you?" board and it blows the mind how much there is to learn in this field, and the wide range of skill levels throughout various age groups.

I have some solid experience under my belt, but there's an awful lot to learn yet-- and guys like Pyro and some others on this forum make it look like CAKE ;)
