Hi,

I just purchased Corel Draw 10 and am attempting to print separations for screen printing.

My question is this: If I have a two-color piece of art that I want to print onto a t-shirt, how do I print the seperate colors so that they line up correctly?

Any and all advice will be greatly appreciated. :)

thx.

I would first do the image with both colors to see the finished effect, and save it.
Open it up again and erase one color, save it.
OLpen again and replace the color you erased, and erase the second color, saving it.
You now have two images with the colors perfectly lined up.
More colors require more operations.

jdavia,

thanx for the reply. that makes good sense!

I'm making a bobcat for a local community college football team but it looks more like a wild cat or a tiger or something...not a bobcat. I'll keep at it.

This is my first attempt at screen printing. Any advice on what to avoid in designing my artwork for screenprinting?

best,
