We just got a new server. It has 6GB of memory. Win 2000 doesn't recognize above 4GB. The server is not in production yet, but we just got everything setup and ready to go.
Is there any reason's why we shouldn't just reinstall Win 2000 Advanced Server to gain access to the extra 2GB of memory?
Does ASP have any issues with Win 2000 Advanced Server? Does it run faster or slower?

The main gain I get from advanced server is the load balancing tools that basic doesn't have. Gaining the extra memory will be benefical if you are doing video or have high usage (ie website, sql, e-mail, dns, and video server all on the same box)
Personally, you will gain by moving from Sql Server 7 to Sql Server 2000/2003 and running asp.net
Best advice I can give you is to test your scenarios on the box. Some servers work better than others. Check for memory leakage and security holes.

Definitely migrate to ASP.NET from ASP. Worlds better... faster, easier to error handle, can do more "out of the box" with it (including uploading files, making graphics on the fly, etc.), promotes better coding, etc.
EDIT: And I hope you're meaning "Win 2000 SERVER or Win 2000 Advanced Server?" Win 2000 has some hokey low concurrent connection limit... 20?
