I've created some software that can enable website visitors to customize the look of a site by dynamically altering the CSS. Its PHP/Javascript. Its free software--primarily intended as an aid for people with visual impairments. You can check it out at http://mazerider.com.

I like that ideal. Great work!

Only thing I could suggest is making the GUI better looking.

Thanks.

Thanks--but if you download the stuff and read the directions it gives you the power to make the GUI look pretty much anyway you want it to be. There are limits to it--because of the Vile and Horrible Internet Explorer somethings just had to be locked down. But again, its open source software, feel free to experiment. You can release the monster from the chains if you want to.

Thanks for making this public, I'll see what I can do with it.

Another suggestion, not that its really too important, you should have a field for custom values.

For example when picking a background color you are really limited to the colors displayed. Perhaps you could have a field to put in a custom HTML color like #000000 then click save and have it show black.

Again, thanks.

No-read the directions on the color picker. It will take you anyplace in the rainbow you want to go. It can take you from #000000 to #FFFFFF , one pixel value at a time if you so choose.
