I'm working on re-animating a dead site. The majority of the old content is still valid and some needs to be updates and the rest will be trashed and fresh content added. It's my old Spanish language (only) webdev/programmer/geek site from several years ago (I sold it as part of a package and the rights have been given back to me).
Problem is that a lot of good info was presented in "blog" format and I do intend to keep that section of the site, but am not sure whether to retain the original dates or just start the blog section over again from the new launch date. Have considered putting the old stuff in "archives" but I know that I personally am a little lazy and tend not to dig unless I know that there is something there that I want.
So... keep old dates intact and publish as is (was), put old stuff in "archives" or re-use the old stuff as "fresh" material?
