minimum 4 letter words in searches??

I've been attempting some searches here, only to be stymied by some search preference. I can't search any word under 4 letters??? Is there some problem with this? I don't even know how I could rephrase my search without it becoming meaningless. Don't you allow people to post messages with under 4 letter words? I can think of numerous, very specific, search terms under 4 letters: IE NS css - not to mention version numbers. My particular query got shot down twice ! image gap netscape 6

I would like to request that this restriction be removed, for the ease and benefit of all.

I think it has to do with search perfoamnce, but yes I agree, it sucks to not be able to search for some words.
