A bunch of questions.

Okay since I'm the new kid on the block so to speak, what is Php, Perl, .Net, Java (not java svript), Asp, Cold Fusion, and SQL?

I have an asperation to becoming a web designer, but I come here and I have no clue as to what these things are. I know just a bit of HTML, just enough to do what I want for the most part and everything is very simple. So, will some one please explain them to me. :confused:

OK, new kid on the block... to get a good answer for the definitions of these LANGUAGES I would suggest using your favorite search engine and you will find out about each one.
