I would like a few people to go to the site that I take care of and give me their opinions on what it looks like, if something needs to be changed, just their opinions. The site is www.hubbardbaptist.org All opinions are welcome. :)

It is very slow to load and looks very old in terms of design.

It functions, but is not great. The buttons are very big, and the graphics are so so. Notice no Meta tags in your source code. What program did you make it in?

might want to change your doc type to "HTML 4.01 Transitional" to get rid of about half the errors in the page.
The design is dated and sorry, but using tables for layout is unacceptable.

Thank you, I'm learning as I do things with the web page so please bare with me, and I will learn about Meta tags and HTML 4.0 Transitional and try to implament them into the web page. :)

Okay I understand that using tables for layout isn't acceptable, I'm wondering why and since I can't/shouldn't use tables what can I use then?

Use div's, lists, headings, paragraphs, etc styled with css... here (http://www.intensivstation.ch/files/en_templates/2/template-2.html) is a really simple layout that could be adapted to the current design that you have. There are lots of css tutorials online and most are pretty good. Take your time and play with the code and you will find that it really isn't that hard to get a nice design worked up.

It was funny. The image took a while to load and it was all blank. hehe
Then the text appeared. xD
The links are too big. The buttons are too big. Too much space between the links. Some links are unreadable.
The image is nice, but it is huge: 227KB

I appreciate the original design as well as bright coloration, but it will be better if you do something with the left column of links - it is difficult to read it because it partly covers the image.
