I need a software recommendation. All I want to do is convert some scanned logos (jpg files) into vector format on my XP machine. I'm a newbie at this web stuff and don't want to spend a fortune (<$200). TIA

From there, you can export the image into several different formats. kedrhodes 11-25-2003, 12:11 PM You are looking for a good vector tool. There are 2 leaders on the market right now; Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Freehand. They both offer trace options, however Adobe makes a product designed for the very function: Adobe Streamline. http://www.adobe.com/products/streamline/main.html I have found the trace options in AI/MF to be useful, but not always correct. You may end up hand drawing parts of your logo withing a vector program. I hope that helps. Happy tracing. webdeveloper.com
