just have a link <a href="http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/YOURFILE.exe">Download Now</a> to the file you want

Or you can put it in a zip file so it doesn't take up as much room.

but then users have to extrac/unzip it b4 use depending on size of orginal file and type depends on zip ratio and stuff

I'm sure someone would rather have to unzip the file, then have an extra minute to five minutes of downloading time, which would all depend on the file.

If its a program you could have them download an installer in .exe formpat. But If its a group of mp3 files or something you could zip it. Or I have seen many sites ust say right click and go to save targt as. This will add accessability because not all users have winzip or winrar (maybe its just a laziness thing though)
