I cannot post the address because it is on the test server which is not accessible w/o login credentials.

Anyhow I am streaming 6 videos from a realmedia server. the files are actually .wmv files because I feel that not everone has the ability to play .rm files but the majority of users have windows so they will be able to play .wmv files without downloading a player. The server is able to stream windows files so it is not a conversion issue because I have the same files in .rm on the server but firefox likes to autoplay all .rm files whether autostart= "0" or "false".

Two of my files start to play for about 5 seconds and give me the error:

"Your computer is running low on memory. Quit other programs and try again"

I know my computer is not running low on memory because 4 video play perfectly fine and all around the same length 5 min. In fact they are all streaming anyhow.

Has anyone had this error before? How did you fix it? Any suggestions on alternate ways of doing this.

Suggestions... yes, don't use either .rm or .wmv for the Web, use Flash .flv instead. Flash is found on many more browsers than any other plugin, giving you a wider audiance.
In the meantime, test each of the problem videos by typing the path to the video (not the Web page) directly into your browser address bar, the address will end with.wmv. You should then have the option to "Save" the file. Save to you desktop, play it from there and see if the video file is OK.
Is this true streaming or is it progressive downloading?
Best wishes,
