I use a forwarding URL (http://earth.shorturl.com) to redirect people to my site (http://www.rgob.com/members/earth/).

I'm ready to submit the site to search engines, but should I use the forwarding URL or the actual URL when submitting?

Thanks.

If you put come keywords/content on the entrance page I would use your shortcut url.

The content from the framed url (where you host your content) is the one that the search engine(s) will take account of anyway, not the url of you frame. That means you wont get the benefit of the domain name in terms of the ranking of the content pages, only in the ranking of the entrance frameset.

If you want to get the full benefit of the domain name you will need to host the pages on the same server as the domain.

Other than that I would probably agree with the above, the frameset ahs some keywords defined so you might as well use it.
