images are not getting displayed on page

I was reading "cricinfo.com" web page using IE8. Everything was getting displayed fine. But once I closed the page and reopened it, image is not getting displayed now. I closed the web page and opened it again, but still I can not see the image. I tried to open with google chrome, but same result. What can be the problem here. Everything was working fine and suddenly this happened.

I did nothing and after some time, all the images started appearing fine without any problem. So I dont understand this. What can be problem here which stops the display of image.
If this kind of problem comes up again, what shall I do ? How do I find out what the problem is ?
Pls give try to give some meaningful answer (probable reasons which can cause such a behavior) rather than " hard to say"

Empty the temporary folder. Increasing the size of the cache may help.
