Commenting?

I am playing around with a site I plan on buying a '.com' for. It's basically going to just be a personal journal site. What I'm having trouble with is getting coding so people can leave comments, and sign guestbooks. Is anyone here able to help?

Server-side scripting is needed
If you know anything about this already, then visit the PHP forum and ask somebody about it there, someone may have a sample script for you to try
If you don't know anything about server-side, search this site for a simple introduction, there will be alot of learning but it could be worth it.
Alternatively, depending on where you are hosting your site, your server might offer ready-made message-boards.
