question about joomla users

in joomla cms from a security aspect i would like to remove the default admin username which is the super administrator and create another username and assign this username as a super administrator

if i delete the default admin super which is the super administrator will i have an issues with the admin page and also the website

please advice.

You can first try to create the user with the super administrator privileges and then try to remove the existing user and have a try.

No I dont think so as is suggested by Thewebhostingdi you can simply do it by first creating a user by super administrator & then of course delete the user account you want.Its quiet simple
