Hiya,

I have a completely hand-coded classic ASP application that i'm thinking about moving to .NET, purely from a learning point of view.

Is it much harder to hand-code in .NET (i'm not really a GUI person), specifically in the areas of:

general HTML code
database connections
INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE statements

I could look online but I want general opinion before I even start looking!
