JavaScript Font identifyer?

Is there any possible way that i can scan someones computer with JS to see if they have a certain font? Similar to the JS Plug-in scanner except this is with a font. Help would be appreciated...:)

Not that I know of. Why not use CSS? If they don't have the font you want, you can make it go to an alternate font instead...

yes, but there are certain types that i want and not everyone has these ones.

So specify those fonts by name, and then let the other fonts display when those fonts are not installed. This can be done in CSS. Or you could use a graphic file instead of text. JavaScript cannot detect whether a font is installed or not...
