Hi,

Could anybody tell what exactly does this patten mean?

•Base XSD Type: string
•pattern = (\d{1,3})((-?\d){8,11})(-?[\dXx])

I want to learn more about XML datatype pattern, could anybody give me link of a good tutorial or e-book?

Thanks heaps !

That is a regular expression.

Should match:

123-45658745875-6x
12-65987548-6X
59856584754-6x
