Hey everyone, I just finished making a site for my friends' band, Behind the Glass. Would any of you please take the time to critique it and tell me what you think? It can be found at:
www.freewebs.com/btg
or
www.behindtheglass.tk
Thanks!

also
<iframe src="main.html" name="main" width="600" height="200">
<a href="main.html">Your browser does not support iframes</a></iframe>
throw that in your iframe for those who do not support iframes.

I don't really see the need for tables there...

Hate the black-white bg images and can't read all the writing on the home page. If you want a flying motif, there's plenty of good airplane photos around. Think color. It's a big part of the web.

It might be a good idea to make the picture a link as well.

Why is the iframe on top of the image? That makes no sense. I don't really see a need to for the iframe anyway. If your image was a reasonable size then load times wouldn't be an issue for 56K users. Intro pages are borderline pointless. You basically slow the user down from getting to the actual content. Speaking of content, where is it? I see the news, but that's it. Oh wait, let me resize my browser. Ok, check your site out on more than one screen resolution. The <title> tag is one of the most important tags you have and yet you have "you are here" in it. That does the user no good in terms bookmarking the site and for search engines. Put the band's name in there.

You links are too small and you might want to think about making them another color cause there hard to read.

I'll cast a vote for the b&w images.
I'll second the suggestions to increase font sizes a bit & change your links to a contrasting color; something other than b&w.
Also, what about a touch of color to the background of your iframe, instead of that gray?
Move the iframe down off of the logo text. Same for your links, unless you get a nice color contrast.
