Guys,
I am starting my own website for clothes. I want to have an online application which lets the customers customize the tshirts to their own style. No installation onto their own computers.
I have been wondering which language would be most suitable given a team of two web developers (myself not included in that ofcourse). Think of the application is something quite similar to 'picnik' or 'photoshop' (maybe not as complex initially). What my understanding is that we can go for 'Flash' based application, ala picnik, or RubyonRails perhaps?
Im not sure about RubyonRails as so far I have not seen any application which is that complex & the reason Im so interested in RubyonRails is the speed of development. So my question is:
Am I just talking (and thinking) rubbish? Is it possible to create that kind of application with RubyonRails? Is RubyonRails a better and more efficient language than flash for my purpose?
