I don't know where to post this question, because i don't know how this little icon is called in the adressbar. this forum has one here above as well.

I want to add an icon likewise in my homepage,
what is it called?
how do i do it?
how do I create one?

its called a favicon (favorites icon)
visit favicon.com (http://www.favicon.com/) for more information

its basicaly a 16 * 16 image that you add with this code
<LINK REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="favicon.ico">
in the head section of your site.

you can create one by saving a 16*16 image as a .ico file, or creating one online or with a special favicon program
