source control/versioning Advice Please

Hello All --

Just out of curiousity - for those of you that work where there are multiple designers/developers working in the same project - how do you protect the pages/source from being wrongly overwritten, deleted, changed???

At my work, we have 2 designers and 1 designer/developer and we are exploring solutions to this.

I've only worked with another developer like twice, so it's not been a problem for me. I just looked over and asked him if he was using the file. :p

I know the DW MX and MX2k4 (and perhaps other versions) has file check in/out, to keep more than one person from editing the file at the same time.
