In an RSS feed I'm currently testing, when I view it with Google Reader, the date specified in pubDate for each individual item is not what appears.
To clarify:
When I subscribe to other feeds in Google Reader, I observe that the date and time shown for items may be from long before I subscribed, verifying that pubDate is what's being displayed, not simply the date this item was downloaded to my Reader.
But for my own feed, the date/time for ALL items is shown to be, i.e., "2 minutes ago" (the time I subscribed to the feed itself), NOT what is specified in pubDate.
I've examined my XML in comparison with others, and the date format is exactly the same. Can anyone spot what's wrong in my feed that might make Google Reader miss the proper pubDate?
