Saving Images..

hi guys, im new here, im just wondering if anyone of you know how to save pictures from the webcam to a jpeg image. i ould like to create an applet of that but i don't know how or where to start...

applet... with java. You want the applet to save webcam pics? You are going to need access to a data base and you are going to need a server side language too.

yes i have a database installed and i am using php as my server side language..

can you help me with these..

afraid not. I am taking classes in java now, but we have not gone into data bases yet, we are learning the language, like the structure at this point. I do not use php as a server side language either and I do not use mysql. Sry. But khalid + pyro are the two to speak to.
