Video Players For Websites

Can anyone tell me how I can get a slick yet affordable video player for a website. I don't want to use the stock Flash skins because they look too generic, but I don't want to spend $1000 for a commercial license. Anything in between?

Your best, most versitle player will be a Flash player...
not sure were you got the idea that you need a $1000 license to create and use Flash... you must be thinking about the license for the Flash Media Server.
The skin of a Flash player can be any graphic you want... no limits!
All the action takes place behind the scenes with the Flash Actionscript anyway.
So can you do any Flash yourself? do you have a graphic of what you want the player to look like?

Here is another flash video player (http://video.a4desk.com)software (for windows). You can use its free trial version if your video is short, or register a full version (which starts from $30 only), and it comes with many skin design too.

i am just a novice but i dont like the normal players either so i have been making site specific players by being lazy but somewhat creative with koolmoves ...here is bits of my site under construction
