Lets have a hardware chat. I just ordered and installed a new processor and put it on my new msi motherboard but that is not what I was going to talk about. I also ordered this thing called the vantec nexus. It is a 3.5 fan controller and it came with two cold cathods. http://www.xoxide.com/vanenx3fanli.html
The sound reactive settings for the cathods are so awesome, I was listening to some van halen on my stereo and these things just went off with the beat so perfectly. Just thought I would post this if anyone is interested in an easy way to independently control your lighting and fans (and get some aggresivly bright cathods in the process). It worked out nice for me.
