Hi all,

I couldn't find any recent threads on this topic, so I figured I'd post and ask again.

Does anyone have experience "buying leads" for web development? If so, can you relate how you've found them?

I'm fairly well established, and using all the usual channels for getting new clients, but my PPC stuff doesn't seem to have much ROI (maybe I need help with that?), and I was wondering if buying leads directly would work out better than PPC.

In addition to ppc, I do use guru.com, craigslist, etc., and get referrals from clients.

I realize a lot of the leads would be junk, but in my business, one "solid" client is worth wading through muck.

Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated.

You can check out Mediaboost (http://mediaboost.com). They package leads and all that other good stuff.

i suggest you to use freelancer sites like elance, getafreelancer etc., to bid on the projects for your webdevelopment company.

you will get more projects here, if you are on your right track.

The projects on sites like that are too small. Are there any sites/sources for bigger projects (especially eCommerce)?
