I'm not used to working with RSS feeds, but I'm trying to help my client...
This client uses WordPress for their blog. They also have speciallly-designed players for their videos which are hosted on their own servers.
The video works great in the blog itself (I cannot divulge the URL) - however, once the user clicks on "Subscribe to the posts..." the video turns into code starting with:
codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=10,0,0,0"
In RSS readers like Bloglines, the video just doesn't show up at all.
Is it possible to get FLVs to work in WordPress using our custom player/wrapper?
Or do we have to post the videos on a public site like YouTube (don't think they'll go for that)? Maybe we just need a plug-in? I couldn't make heads or tails of the WordPress help files.
Thanks!
