An isp for a website is anyone who has a server who hosts your site. You can be your own isp too, for example I am running my own server for personal use. But unless your internet connection at home has a fast upload, you have plenty of spare ram, and a good processor, I do not reccomend it because if you get any kind of traffic it will make your computer laggy when you are using it for every day stuff. It is good to have a dedicated box for a server but in reality its hard to have two good computers running side by side w/ out paying a lot of money and then the electric bills are ... yikes. An isp can also be a host. For example www.brinkster.com, or www.lycos.co.uk or http://europe.webmatrixhosting.net are all web hosts that let you host websites from their servers.

macromedia flash is easy to learn. use the panel on the right to make squares and triangles and try to make a stickfigure that walks. do so by making a stickfigure, clicking on the TIMELINE and making a new keyframe then make the stickfigure walk a little more then make another frame and have him walk like that. thats the basics. then you can learn all the rest from there through exploration.

You make it sounds sooooo easy! And you're only 14!

I tried my hand at Flash MX once... needless to say, I failed miserably. Maybe I'll take it up at a later time... I'm a bit busy learning Photoshop, C++, and PHP on and off.

NEVER!!! I'll never drop Photoshop! I'm not too good at it, but I love it, and I'm learning! I am continually amazed by what one can accomplish with Photoshop. I can handle Photoshop, PHP, and C++! I'm good at Multi-tasking :D

Check out www.bladexl.com I e-mailed the webmaster and he said that *ever* graphic on the site was created using Photoshop or PSP 7. Check out the Splashes and Walls...
