I want to use Godaddy DNS so that I can get more options like Cname etc which is not possible with a regular Cpanel from hosting companies. I want to know that how can I use the nameservers in godaddy. I have direct nameservers listed there that I dont want.

My nameservers are
NS1.LINEAGEHOSTING.COM
NS2.LINEAGEHOSTING.COM

If I type 72.29.94.207 (IP for NS1.LINEAGEHOSTING.COM) in www in the host section I see a test zencart page, probably installed by my hosting provider, is there any way to accomplish this?

Please help

Are you trying to get rid of your nameservers? To my knowledge you cannot do that. The nameservers are what point your server to the proper domain. 'Not sure.

login to Cpanel and click on "Sub-Domain" icon in the main interface,
Then create a sub-domain e.g. mail.yourdomain.com.
after creating the sub domain, go back to Home page of CPanel. and
again click in Sub-Domain icon. Now, you will see, the sub-domain
entry that you created.

FYI - That was the first page when searching for "cpanel cname".
