Hi Guys,

I've converted an FLV video file into SWF with playback controls using Flash CS4 and embedded it on the page using Dreamweaver. When i preview it the video plays back ok in all browsers. So I have uploaded to the server and visited the page online but now all i see is a white space where the video should be?

If i right click in the area i get the flash menu so there is a flash element there, it just won't show.

I've created many flash swf slideshows before and uploaded with no problems. Is there something else im missing for video?

Heres the site (http://www.cnsdemo4.co.uk/mpt)

The flash should appear on the right above the logos.

I've tried searching the forum for "SWF Won't play" etc but can't find any results.

Thanks guys.

By "converted an FLV video file into SWF" do you mean that you have embedded the .flv directly into the timeline? adding enough frames to equal the number of frames in the video? Then you also added controls? So now the entire package is all in one file?
If it plays on your local machine but not on the server it sounds like you have a file missing.
Current link displays video in both IE and FF so it's hard to tell what previous problem was.
Best wishes,
