Am trying to find somewhere like an auction site, or job site, that posts potential jobs as one off projects rather than positions.

I have found: I-Tik Auctions (http://www.i-tik.com)

Does anyone know of any more ??

Or can recommend somewhere ( i live in the UK if that makes any difference)

I have tried www.creativemoonlighter.com in the past, but it hasn't really worked out that well....But, it allows you to bid on jobs. :)

you could try http://contractedwork.com/ also there is a link on their main page for web design. they send you individual emails for each job in a catagory you designate with a description of that job.

is free and has a nice search for projects... but you may have to sign up (no $$$ to sign up) to search projects
