On the Google search results, some sites have a sign saying "V...... Trusted" (I can't read the writing, it's too small). What is that?

Chances are you have an anti-virus software installed that is checking websites for malicious links. Most of the "big" anti-virus packages include a similar feature.

That's disappointing. My website has it and I thought it was some special label for really good websites :)

I agree its some sort of anti-virus protection for you to avoid sites tagged with the sign.
