Hi,

after moving my website to a different server, I somehow have difficulties to access it like I could before.
While everyone else around me can see it without any issues, it seems like it blocked me from visiting the url. I can't ping the url but the IP address.

I tried out these things to solve the problem:
1. Resetting the security level of IE.
2. Changing the automatic DNS to a specific one.
3. Flushing the dns with cmd

Then I found out something really weird:
1. I change my IP using the on/off button of my router while every PC at my home is shut down.
2. I restart one of my PCs and the site suddenly works.
3. But I can't receive any mails from the same host with Windows Live Mail.
4. Now I start msn messenger and the site is gone again...
5. I close msn messenger and suddenly I can receive mails from the host though I can't access the site with any browsers.

I also tried to change the IP with one of my PCs on and though the IP changed, I couldn't access the site.

Everything was fine before the server change and I didn't install any new programs either. Is it possible that msn messenger can block certain sites?

What can I do? Thanks in advance for your help!

Sounds like a router or firewall problem. Have you tried cold-cycling your router/checking your firewall/anti-virus rules?
