Ok here is the deal... I have a friend that i am designing a web site for. He wants his site to do something a particular way and there are no pre-existing scripts that I know of that can handle what he wants. I am more of a code editor, not really a writer.
Here is what he wants: He offers a website introducing revolutionary products that have a affiliate programs. He want them to come to his site, and hopefully sign up under his affiliate programs, but once they sign up on HIS web site for his affiliate program that will give them their page, just like his, with all the links to the affiliate programs; however, allowing them to replace the links with their own. Not sure if that makes sense, but I will try laying it out like this...
His site, which we will call "a.com" lists affiliate programs that he is signed up for, which we will call "b.com" "c.com" "d.com" etc.
His site, a.com, is devoted to telling people about these programs and how they really help generate a second income and how the product is amazing etc.
It will be a landing page so to speak, with videos etc. Well once they click on one of the affiliate programs, b.com, it will open up a new link on a.com which will allow them to signup as a member of a.com.
Once they are a member, they will get their own landing page such as a.com/index.php?id=whatever
In the member section of a.com they will have a form listing all the sites on the landing page giving them the option to put in their affiliate id for each site. So for example if someone signs up for b.com and have the affiliate id they can put it in the form and hit submit. Doing so will replace the default value with theirs.
Really it will benefit both parties.
I know this will require a MYsql database, and some php coding. Problem is I can not write php code from scratch, I only know how to edit and do basic stuff.
I need someone to help me write the code, or someone that is willing to write the code for me, they will be compensated of course. I am really looking to build a relationship with a coder as I do a lot of design work and need some help.
If someone could just help me write it, I can do all the designing and such.
