first of all Hi to all.

Anyway let i come to the topic, I am looking to launch a site regarding classified. Actually am a business person and i dont know much about web sites so i am here for your help and support Guys.... i hope u all will do best.

so will you Guys help me by answering these Question.?

i know i need a domain names and a space in server.

How much it will cost..? its a auto update site.. (anyone can come and place a add at any time it must be upload)
can its possible to earn through site..? ( How? any examples)
what does i need..? to whom shall i contact..?

It sounds as if you are very new at website development and hosting etc.

There are many companies that can help you very quickly.

GoDaddy.com, Networksolutions.com are both companies that offer you a very easy way to get a website up and operating with little money.

Generally you can expect a cost of around $20/month for a very basic website that they can create for you from a template.

If you begin your research on those sites it may help to answer more of your questions.

I may be worthwhile to do some reading up on web development and internet businesses generally first. (eg. our site took 2 professionals three years of work to create), and arguably, it's merely a "classifieds" site as well.

If you don't do much customization works, those web hosting packages come with free templates to get your business up and ready in a matter of days or even hours.

Usually it is when you want to customize the existing templates that will take up time and those web hosting companies will charge you by man-days.

So for your case, 3 years will mean your business logic is not what is available in the existing templates and hence customization is needed am I right ? And also 3 years will mean you keep on re-fining or changing your business requirements along the way am I right again ?

You're pretty much bang on. We've actually developed patent-pending technology that builds upon a typical "classifieds" site.... so yeah, not even close to being available in the existing templates. And yes, we've refined/changed our business requirements along the way, and continue to do so, as we continually understand the "problem space" better.

That being said, my inclination is to say that it's generally important to at least try to distinguish yourself somewhat. In general, in my opinion it is not really sufficient to simply put together a site from a template and expect the world to come banging to your door.

You can earn a revenue from any website who has much visits per day. There are many practices you can follow for making money online like Google ad sense, placing ads of different companies etc...
As far as domain name cost is concern you can check from any famous hosting services like Go daddy.
