How can I reduce the memory of a memory card?

I have a microSD with 4GB memory but my phone only allows 2GB. How can I reduce the memory?

I'm not sure it can be done. If it can't, I'd just go and get a lower capacity memory card............or a bigger phone :D

Download a Linux distro that can run as a lice CD.

You may be able to partition it how you want under a live CD like Ubuntu.
