Hello everyone,
I am new to working on websites, but much to my surprise and for the most part, I have managed to successfully update a template [link below]. However, my inexperience has stumped me and I need some help.
I am having trouble with the ‘News’ page, specifically the list of red highlighted dates. I don’t know how or where to change the formatting of this text, i.e. remove the 4 columns of dates. Ideally I’d like to replicate the layout of one of the other pages. It’s driving me crazy!
Also, can I change the music default setting to off?

Thanks, Kenny.
That is a Flash template. That has nothing to do with HTML. I have no idea what do you mean by "I have managed to successfully update a template", as long as: 1. That is Flash template and 2. You have not bought that template.
Anyway, I have not the slightest idea what is your problem.

Hey! What's with the hostility? OK I don't know Flash from HTML and I can't speak a technical language, I am sorry for that, but I have purchased the template and have a receipt from TemplateMonster if you wish to see it. I do have a genuine problem and I do need some help. How better would you like me yo explain the problem?
How better would you like me yo explain the problem?
Simply explained by posting the code, the HTML code, the CSS code, the JavaScript code... Is is a client-side (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) problem? Or a Flash problem?
And please, make your question clear enough! For instance "remove the 4 columns of dates" What columns? Where?

OK. I'll review my request. However, I did post a link to the template and named the page that I needed to edit. Specifying the columns and text that I’d like to change. I don’t have access to the code as I am at work, so can’t post it now. And hoped, maybe naively, that someone may be able to suggest which filename or file type is commonly used for determining the layout.
For example: Is someone were to ask “I’d like to prepare a lasagne, but I can’t find the pasta”.
I would need to know how many people were invited for dinner, nor whether the meal was to be vegetarian, only that the pasta is in the cupboard next to the dishwasher.
Before posting a question, make sure it is a question. And before asking for help related to a problem, make sure you have posted properly that problem.
So far, your problem sounds like that: You have a flash template and you want to make some changes.
Considering that here is the HTML Forum, not the Flash forum, I am entitled, as a moderator, to ask you again: are you sure you have posted your problem in the right Forum?

Yes Kor, you are correct. I have posted my question in the wrong forum. I shall repost in the Flash forum. Thank you for your help.
Don't. I will move this Thread in the Flesh Forum
